Story about Hashimotos Disease .

My Pancreas journey so far

May 23, 2017

Hi my name is Ciara and I live in Dublin, Ireland. I am 41years old and I am married and have 5 children. Ages ranging from 24, 15, 9, 7 & 4. I first had my acute pancreas attack during my last pregnancy. I was 16 weeks and had terrible abdominal pain. They thought I might have call stones so they arranged an mri. No call stones. My amylase levels were way up. Forward a year I had a scope down into my stomach all that was diagnosed was a sliding hiatus hernia. Exactly a week later I had a bleed from my bowel and was in hospital for 5 days. So basically they couldn't tell me why I was Intermittently getting this upper pain that went in to my back after I ate. I had every scan blood test CT scan, Hida scan but ended having to have my call bladder removed it was full of stones. Then in January of this year I had a scope done and the next day I was admitted with acute pancreatitis my amylase levels were 7500. I was there for 9 days. 2 weeks later I was back in my amylase we on the rise again. Kept another 9 days. They did a sinus plexus block. That lasted 2 weeks and I was back with pain and nausea admitted again. They did an EUS and then did a left nerve planchnic rysotomy. That lasted 2 weeks too. I am on oxicontin and oxymoron for break through.. also I am on 2 x 25000 creon with each meal. Reviewed in 3 months.
