Is it easy to find a partner and/or maintain relationship when you have Inclusion Body Myositis?
People with experience in Inclusion Body Myositis give their opinion on whether it is easy or not to have a partner or to maintain a realationship when you are diagnosed of Inclusion Body Myositis. What are the possible difficulties in having a relationship?
With today’s many social networks it certainly makes it easier to meet others with the same disease.
I have been happily married to a loving careing wife for 50 years. We took our vows “through sickness and health” not knowing I would be affected with this terrible disease. Lynne has stood stand fast in dealing with this disease and I could not live the life I live without her help. There are many couples that have separated because one could not handle dealing with the disease and what is required.
