Christine's interview

How did all start?

After pelvis surgery

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Still waiting for official diagnosis. Very poor response from the NHS.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Joining an ic support group on Facebook. Learning about the ic diet, natural and over the counter remedies. No such support from the NHS.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

NHS not taking this seriously

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Everyone seems to be fed up with me being in pain. I struggle to care from my disabled son and work is hard to cope with.

What things have you stopped doing?

Horse riding, dancing, hiking, walking, eating good food.

What do you think about the future?

It seems very bleak at the moment. Hoping desperately for someone to treat this.
