How did all start?
I was born
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
It took me no time since i was tested immediately since it’s hereditary
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
long QT… the beta blockers allow me to exercise as does everyone else in highschool. it’s a wonderful gift of science and brains.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
beta blockers and the cleveland clinic!!
What have been your biggest difficulties?
With my OCD, trying to stay focused on what’s important rather than trailing off… also being kind to myself
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
They haven’t at all… my parents have helped my through everything
What things have you stopped doing?
haunted houses, big rollercoasters, jumping into cold water, going to the gym
What do you think about the future?
i have a lot in store for me. big dreams
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
my teen years because i’ve become the person i want to be
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
go to a haunted house
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
optimistic and full of joy, inspiring
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
remember your worth and keep fighting the hard feelings. time will heal everything and it will all be okay.
