How did all start?
When I was born with a faulty gene.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Once the RD&E got me on their books it was a few months.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Genetics dept.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Knowing I've got a syndrome and I am not completely mad!
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Brain damage, constant bleeding, bruising, etc. etc. ect.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
No change there, they knew I was unhinged to start with
What things have you stopped doing?
I can no longer ride a motorbike...otherwise nothing!
What do you think about the future?
I don't, day by dy suits me fine!
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
All of them. I've been to Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Spain, France and the Isle of Wight.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Buy a Triumph Bonneville!
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
I'm still here!
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Never let go of your pillow!
