How did all start?

Sudden hearing loss at age 30

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Was diagnosed 20 years after hearing loss

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Brain fog. Dizziness, Reduced work hours affecting my income. Depression. Missing out on social activies

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

I have a lot of support from family and friends

What things have you stopped doing?

Going to movie theater, concerts, working full time. Driving out of town by myself

What do you think about the future?

Just hope I can get some relief. If not, I don't know.

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

Before I got this disease.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Work full time, enjoy life, drive myself out of town

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

My life is on hold until these symptoms subside

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Rest, reduce stress
