How did all start?

Mild cough, Issues with bladder and blood pressure

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Yes. At least 1 year

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

Neurologist

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Exercise and medications for blood pressure control

What have been your biggest difficulties?

It progressed so fast. Inability to do anything independently due to falls, dizziness, and weakness. Speech changes, having to repeat myself often. Up to the bathroom everynight and fell many times due to poor balance and hypotension.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Brought family closer together. Dependent on them to leave the house.

What things have you stopped doing?

Driving, shopping alone, walking without a walker, decreased social life, unable to enjoy tbe outdoors, poor quality of life. All of this has happened within 1 year.

What do you think about the future?

Not hopeful. Desperate for an effective treatment just to feel better.
