How did all start?
I discovered a lump in both breast. Went to the doctor then was referred to a local hospital for a mammogram which led to an ultrasound which resulted in saying it was nothing but I did have very dense breast tissue.
I had been extremely sick and finally got referred to the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville. After getting diagnosed with Heds I mentioned the recent breast exam which they then referred me to the breast clinic at the mayo. This is when they found that the mass needed to be removed. After finally getting my lumpectomy thats when we got the labs back confirming it was a Phyllode Tumor.

I try not to think about the future but to just be in the present
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Its onmy two days into 2021 so we know it's not the previous year and this year I'm sick in bed with a stomach virus so.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
If I didn't have Heds and I could bend my knee I would ride a bike with my kids, play soccer with them and enjoy the world outside

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Keep positive. Meditate and learn to laugh at yourself
