Robeccer's interview
How did all start?
Felt a large lump on right breast that seem to be growing quickly.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes, it took about a month to get a diagnosis
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
We did a partial mastectomy to remove the malignant phyllodes tumor. It was detected with mammogram and the ultrasound; then we did a needle biopsy; pathology had to get a second opinion the ultimately they recommended a lumpectomy with wide margin so they could fully see the whole tumor and figure out exactly what it was. The lumpectomy did not get clear margin so had to go back in; and since margins were not clear we did a chest CT to make sure it did not spread to lungs. The lumpectomy and partial mastectomy were most useful.
What have been your biggest difficulties?

Making plans until all is resolved
What do you think about the future?
Unsure
