Rp journey

I was at my 40th birthday party but had a cold and sore throat very annoying, little did I know that it would never leave. Years of asthma often meant that respiratory infections came with a cold but antibiotics and steroids for a week.or so.would usually clear it. 18months in it looks like they will be permanent. I deteriorated and suffered severe pain in.my sternum with chest and throat infections and loss of voice. Add in the terrible night sweats  noisy breathing and a general deterioration I ended up in hospital.with pneumonia and what I now know to be a full flare. No treatments were working until.a lovely Dr decided to take all.my blood, x-ray, spirometry, CT and bronchoscopy results to a panel. RP said one of the surgeons so I was taken in for biopsies and diagnosed. Steroids and methotrexate worked for a short time them stopped now just finished Cyclophosphamide and still on the Steroids, a couple of bronchiole dilatation but nothing seems to be really getting on top of it. My life.has changed immeasurably but I continue to fight.
