My Sarcoidosis

 In 1985 I had a cough that would not stop no matter what the doctor did.   It was a few months of prednisone and different other medications and it finally subsided .  Dr. had no explanation as to what was wrong .  In 2003  I became severely ill with again of a lot of coughing,  and a multitude of some serious problems.   Landed me in the hospital for weeks off work for over a year.  Every test and every doctor known to mankind was on my case.  It was then before that they figured out I had pulmonary sarcoidosis.   I was put on prednisones 60 mg daily for over two years.   That in itself I thought was going to kill me .  Had a multitude of other issues because of that .  Then I was finally able to go back to work as a nurse . In 2011  my pulse rate was 32 with heart  symptoms.  Come to find out I had cardiac sarcoidosis  and then they put a ICD pacemaker in to regulate my heartbeat. Since then I've had no other major issues.   I did have to go on disability  in 2012.
