chardai was diagnosed after 9 times of seeing a clinician and was extremely I'll to the point of almost dying ,she stayed in hospital for 8 weeks the first time enduring 3 operations and months of antibiotics and physio,but unfortunately this wasn't enough has after been out of hospital for 3 months she broke her hip bone as it was dead caused by the lemierres disease,so she was readmitted for a further 6 weeks to be told nothing could be done at this time to save the hip and she would need a hip replacement in a few years time by this point she is only 7 years old they are hoping to get her till at least 13 ,years pass on with her enduring pain ,physiotherapy and no weight-bearing for a few years until late it was time for the hip replacement,chardai has a 2.5 difference in her leg length due to the dead bone too .on 11th January 2016 she went to theatre for her total hip replacement and leg lengthing,she had to have her hamstrings cut and torn also to try and get the length the same as the other leg ,operation was over in about 5 hours and we thought all was looking good ,she was in extreme pain which they said was expected ,after 3 days they decided to x ray her to see why she was in so much pain still ,that had revealed that whilst she was in theatre 2 days earlier the stretching of the leg resulted in the surgeon breaking a fibio bone and made the new hip come loose so unfortunately it was back to surgery again to fix these problems ,after that operation it was revealed she had gained foot drop and lost feeling in her foot so was in even more pain than before,more physio and hard work of trying to straighten the leg was inevitable and was to to expect this for months ,it's now been a year since the final operation and still she gets a lot of pain ,still can't 100%feel all the foot ,lost circulation in the leg as it's always freezing and her leg is still 2.5cm different from her good leg ,not good at all :(( we have now been told that the only option left to treat the leg discretion is to cut out 2.5cm of the good leg fuse it back together and then it would make her level and her pelvis will hopefully go back to normal not a lot of has she had :( but she fights everything that's thrown at her
