My endo story: 3 surgeries, going vegan and now I'm feeling better

Dec 2, 2

By: Kira

I've had surgery 3 times, in 2004 (when I was diagnosed), 2005 and 2007. The first and the second surgery were about take two big chocolate cysts in my ovaries (7cm and 11cm), and the third one they found a big tissue growing in the pelvic region.

I've been with any trouble for 4 years, but I had in 2011 so many stressful situations that lead to a growth of a new tissue (3cm) and 3 cysts in the breasts. When I got the results I cut down the meat, the processed foods and the sugar, and everything I eat is whole food (no wheat and mostly gluten free and soy free) and I eat vegetables, fruits, legumes... Everyday. I cut the dairy too, and it seems that it has worked. The tissue is not growing anymore (not disappearing but it doesn't hurt) and all the symptoms are under control. No more migraines or pain before or after the menstruation.

The menstruation is a hard time, I have pain but not as 2 years ago.
