Story about Addison Disease .

How it all began.

Dec 2, 2

I was 16 years old and off roading with a four wheeler motor bike. We went up a steep incline and I fell off the back of the bike and broke my fall with my head. I cracked my skull, thus leading to brain swelling and brain injuries. To cut a long story short, I damaged my pitaurity gland and all my hormones went out the door. The cortizone/steriods not being produced is the most dangerous, because if not managed I can die from it. I have other things along with it that makes it all bit more complicated but I am surviving! I finished school, finished university, worked overseas, driving a car .... basically everything the docters said I would never be able to do I did and some more. I am currently working but I have good days and bad days. Fatigue, pain, brain fog, but it's life as I know it, so I carry on.
