How did all start?
Chronic fatigue in Feb 2019
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Diagnosed with a CT scan in Feb in the ER due to chronic fatigue, night sweats, weight loss, and rapid heart rate
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Rheumatologist
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
We haven't found the right meds yet but going to the research study performed in the National institute of health in Maryland with Dr. Greyson was extremely useful.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Medications and their side effects
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Definitely. I'm not as fun as I use to be.
What things have you stopped doing?
I push myself every day to continue a normal lifestyle
What do you think about the future?
I will eventually get better.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
I haven't had the disease for a year yet.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Socialize more
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
It's challenging but everything happens for a reason and God will get me through these tough times.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Reaching remission is possible
