How did all start?
My feet were itching horribly from the inside, like my veins were itching. Then my feet turned purple.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes I was diagnosed in 2017. Took maybe 3 months to diagnose.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Medications.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Below knee amputation and 2 toes amputation on other foot.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Very supportive of me. They show up for my surgeries and lots of prayers.
What things have you stopped doing?
Going places where I have to walk a lot.
What do you think about the future?
I have a positive outlook. Whatever life I have left I plan to live it fully.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Before symptoms presented. I traveled, opened a business, family time.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Travel.
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
I have learned to rest when I need to and to listen to my body.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Listen to and learn your body.
