How did all start?
leg pain.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
I do have a diagnosis, it took 6 years. I was misdiagnosed twice.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
neurology, rheumatology. I would have to say Neurology. the best advice i got was from a Neurologist that told me I could shop around for a doctor to operate but would more than likely not be happy with the outcome.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Walking
What have been your biggest difficulties?
opioid withdraw.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Yes things have changed of course. Most just don't understand.
What things have you stopped doing?
working, bowling, hiking, dancing, anything that makes it hurt.
What do you think about the future?
I am gonna be around for a long time, maybe we will find something that treats this disease.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Every day is the start of something new! I never look back, only forward.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
never have I ever given up.

focus all your energy on positive not negative, on what you can do not what you cant!
