I don't know of any LATEST ADVANCES as we still seem to be in the denial stage as far as this condition being recognized as a disability REQUIRING ACCOMMODATION.
I am seeing success in my own path as described:
PRUDENT AVOIDANCE, measusre and mitigate all sources.
Identify metals and chemicals in the body and environment and detox
Reduce high copper with zinc
Increase methylated B vitamins
Biomagnets to correct cellular voltage\
Healthy diet, lifestyle, relationships...gentle exercise
Emphasis on restorative sleep
Patience
