I think that any life changing, mood altering condition can cause some degree of depression, but I don't believe HE specifically causes depression. Keeping an open line of communication between yourself and your loved ones and keeping people in your life that understand what you are dealing with can ease the expression of feeling like your alone and no one understands.
Join support groups. Talk to your Doctors. Ask for help when you need it.
HE effects my mood by making me frustrated when I try to do something and my symptoms won't let me. I keep from getting depressed by talking to people and writing about it.
