Loeys Dietz syndrome and depression
Can Loeys Dietz syndrome cause depression? Could it affect your mood? Find out how Loeys Dietz syndrome can affect your mood.
Yes, you can become depressed just like with anything else. You need to have support, family, friends, etc. The hardest thing I think people deal with is pain from your joints and the emotional stress it puts on you.

I'm not certain of LDS causing depression but I have seen several people that have struggled with anxiety. There have been things that have gotten me down and depressed but whether that is because of the anxiety or other factors is unsure. I believe anyone addy any point with any disorder can become depressed or struggle with depression. Hardest thing to deal with is the things I know I'll never do, or the things I do no longer do because of my current status.

Dealing with LDS can effect mood. I have suffered with depression, grief, ptsd anxiety and more. Your life changes over night with diagnosis and treatment. You are likely to have lost close relatives to this condition so grief and ptsd are likely.
On top of this I and family members with LDS(3) have also suffered with Bipolar diagnosis. Connected/not connected?
