No you have to find someone who is willing to fight for you and pick up the slack when you are in so much pain that it hurts to even breathe

It may be easy or difficult to find/maintain a relationship. I am not sure that this disease would affect this at all. It would depend on the patient and how the disease affects the patient.

That all depends on the Severity of the disease and if you are able to find someone that can understand what you will end up going threw as you age and the disease changes with age some partners are able to help you get threw the hard and extremely painful times as others are unable to comprehend how an unseen disease could cause someone to get so sick yet still look and or act while out in public but when you get home you can act like your dying or are in such extreme amounts of pain they don’t know how you can switch from looking fine to being hospitalized in a blink of an eye... it is very hard to keep a relationship with one of the partners having this disease.

It is important to add a Counselor, Therapist or Psychiatrist to your MSK care team as a back up support system to help you cope.
