I think that a diet high in protein and iron, multiple vitamins is essential for healing. I dont know of any specific diet that will be helpful, generally having a diet that is balanced is most important. I feel that having alot of sugar when you have NF, can cause extra problems and slow healing.

Yes anything that boosts your immune system and strengthens your bones and keeps your blood pressure regulated and just generally eat and sleep healthier whatever can extend your life cause as survivors of such a fatal disease and very rare one at that we don't have a very high life expectancy.
