I believe the physical therapy and occupational therapy prolonged my mother's ability to walk and use her hands to pick up objects and feed herself. I think it can only be as intense as the individual's abilities as everyone with PSP is different. Also it would depend on the age of the person and their physical ability before the disease.

If you don’t use it; you lose it. Keep moving for as long as you can. Walking, water aerobics etc. an OT might be able to help you with some exercises.
