Is it easy to find a partner and/or maintain relationship when you have Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome?
People with experience in Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome give their opinion on whether it is easy or not to have a partner or to maintain a realationship when you are diagnosed of Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome. What are the possible difficulties in having a relationship?
No you. An still maintain relationship. But you are sick now amd truly need help Auch as remembering things.

I would have to say, absolutely not. I have been lucky that my wife of over 26 years has stuck by my side through this whole ordeal. I know so many others that are unable to maintain relationships. And that includes me. I have a great relationship with my wife who stays by my side throughout this and knows what a fight it's really been. As far as family and the outside world, they really don't know what a struggle this is. I feel like whenever I'm around friends or family I click into a show mode. That's too mean I hate to show my pain and my depression. So I have become a bit of a shut-in I will admit. I've lost many friends family scatters. It's difficult when you cannot make plans. Because if you do your body may not be willing to cooperate with that date and time. I couldn't imagine trying to start a relationship or maintain a relationship if your smas starts at a young age.

Yes, it is hard to find/maintain a relationship when you have Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome. It is important to communicate and understand that your partner may think he/she understands what your going through but, they never will truly understand.
Yes but you need someone who is supportive and does not tell you it's just in your head that you are creating these symptoms
