There is probably a diet best for CRPS but I'm not aware of it or on it. I know a lot of people who have this don't follow a special diet the eat regular food. Or have feeding tubes because of GI issues, from gallbladder failure or other problems.

Yes. Avoid foods with inflammation qualities (e.g. legumes, heavy breads and excess cheese). However, CRPS patients need to experiment. Sometimes coffee can set off a flare, other times it could be too much sugar. In general, a person with CRPS should eat as healthy as possible. Lots of fruits, vegetables and good proteins. Not too much red meat and avoid alcohol as much as possible.

There is a bit written about diet though for me you quite often dont fancy eating or crave. Therefore i just try to stick to what i like and keep it fairly healthy and organic where possible. I do itca lot of fruit though. Not sure if it helps but in my head it does.

There are gluten free diets that some have found successful. Some inflammation free foods help. Some believe no dairy help. I’m sure several receive relief on these diets but not everyone. I tried and didn’t notice anything different. You should try for yourself. Don’t know unless u try.

Diets that reduce immflamation help. Stay away from nightshade, and keep the diet alkaline. Organic is best in order to stay away from extra chemicals in the body, sending the nerve and autoimmune system into overdrive.

Personally believe that if you crave a food then your body needs it. I am a sucker for for cottage cheese and shellfish AND according to Brian Barrs Solicitors who represent CRPS sufferers UK these two food stuffs are on that. Keeping hydrated is absolutely critical. Alcohol is not helpful for me. Find it irritates nerve pain. Very important to have a generally healthy dietb
