PCOS

I went into surgery when I was 12 or 13 for a ruptured cyst, the doctors thought it was the apendyx that was casuing the pain. After that, everyone assumed i was fine because the cyst was gone. I started gaining a lot of weight, even when I was working out 3 hours a day and eating really healthy, specially for a kid my age. Then my mother started noticing some darkening on my neck, but thoght it was because I wasn't cleaning my neck as I should.
When I was 17 i wen to an endocrinologist, and he told me I had metabolic syndrome and sent me Ifa Acxion, it didn't help much. I was 87 kg and 22 when a friend told me about acanthosis nigricans and PCOS, she gave me her doctors number, and I finally was diagnosed with PCOS with Insulin resistance, hirsutism, etc.... My doctor gave me an hipocaloric diet, metformin and told me to exercise, in 4 months I lost 23 kg.
When I graduated university I had to move, started working, stopped exercising, etc. and the weight is back, even with metformin, exercise and a helthy diet, it has become more difficult to loose it. I've tried a couple of doctors here but they haven't been much help. I'm still trying to find the best specialist for this and the best treatment for me.
I'm starting Keto Diet and some suplements to see if they are any help.
