My journey through SMA syndrome

When I was born I used to cry after I ate and my parents just thought I had a sensitive stomach and kept switching my formula and found one that made me stop crying around 2 months old. I didnt really have any problems until 2015 in october when I got this intense pain after I ate or drank anything. I went to the hospital the next day and was sent home with no answers. I went back 6 days later and they took me seriously and did tests and diagnosed me with SMAS and admitted me into the hospital. I got my GJ tube a month later and went to the mayo clinic for further treatment. I got the tube out in march of 2016 and have been tube free since. My mom and I think that the crying after I ate when I was a baby was a sign that something was wrong from day one but when I gained weight it went away. Still have no clue why it returned or made itself clear. I was a very healthly active child and I still am very active but with limited cardio activity due to the amount of calories you lose while doing thise types of activities. My weight has been stable and I have been feeling good! I still have the bad days where it feels like things are moving slowly but those dont happen often.
