Stage II Bladder Cancer

Just wanted to quick share my fiance's story.  He worked in a textiles (clothing) factory years ago in Turkey.  Look it up, the amount of textile workers with bladder cancer is astounding!  He's been having lower back pain for about two years now and had blood in his urine every now and then.  About two weeks ago he was only peeing blood and was having a hard time urinating at all.  He had a few trips to the emergency room in a 72 hour period, had surgery to remove a 5cm tumor in his bladder and was diagnosed with stage II bladder cancer.  He just had scans today that we will get results on tomorrow, it is supposed to tell us exactly how far its spread and what stage and grade its actually at.  We're really hoping it stays at II and doesn't get any worse, but it sounds like its way worse than we ever hoped.  He is supposed to start Chemo in Baltimore at U of M at the end of this month.  We're bracing for him losing his bladder as that seems the likely route.  We are trying to read everything we can get our hands on and we just learned that all of this means little to no sex life (we'll live) and no children (we haven't processed this yet).
