A Carotid Artery Dissection story

I write from Italy, sorry for my bad English. I would like to thank this group for the support I've had, so many doubts and problems were clarified by your posts and comments.
On October 2014 I had the flu and cough very strong. Perhaps for these coughing has generated CAD.

I started to have dizziness, pain behind the eyes, headache and saw the little lights occasionally.

The front also very dilated vein. One day I had TIA block with the right arm and mouth. In the hospital after many analyzes have diagnosed sub-occlusive stenosis of the right internal carotid artery.

The dissection was both right and left, but only on the right was the occlusion. SKULL CT with contrast was very interesting to understand the problem. Discharged with acenocoumarol therapy.

A few days ago I did the second TC Skull with contrast, the report was very positive. There remains a slight dissection, but extinguishments stenosis caliber carotid almost normal.

I changend my therapy now i have ASA, instead of acenocumarolo.

8 months after I had an episode of epilepsy, perhaps caused by the scar on my brain i have after the TIA

Here's my experience that I want to share with you. Greetings from Italy. See you soon.
