What is this rash?

I started to develop small red, itchy bumps around my elbows at age 39. My doctor told me it was probably eczema.   The condition worsened into patches of blisters I couldn't stop itching.  I googled my s hypnotist mptoms and went to a dermatologist.  She suggested it was eczema also, but I asked her to consider what I had been reading avout- dermatitis herpetiformis.  Several blood tests and a punch biopsy were done to indicate celiac.  I continued to eat normally until I had an endoscopy to confirm.  I met with a dietician for help in getting started.  I started taking capstone 50mg a day to control the flares.  I still, a year later, take 25mg a day or every other day and use a cortisone cream when needed.  I can't seem to get things under control 100% with diet.  I feel fortunate to have this version of celiac disease after I read about people's horrible other symptoms.  The hardest part is the social aspect of my life and how much it revolved around gathering with friends and family for food.  I have a very supportive husband who loves to cook, so I am lucky that way.
