my journey

Was first diagnosed with crohn's 3 years ago after been told I have everything from cancer to an eating problem. I went through cameras up and down and many scans the only way they found mine was a MRI by this stage I was a size 8 living off 4 chicken nuggets and beans and gallons of full fat milk. They were trying every drug possible which just made things worse and after a year were finally going to have the operation to remove 2 foot of intestine and it's the best thing I have ever done!! I can now eat what ever I like (may have over indulged a little now) and have to tummy ache at all. The only issue I have is severe runs! Can be on the loo any were from 5-15 times a day and at time especially at night if I've had a drink before bed can be a ball ache! !! But apart from that I'm a million times better and we're the best thing I've ever done! My mum was also diagnosed with Crohn's a year after me and went through the same op a year ago now so we have matching scars haha!! She still suffer the odd flare tummy ache and been sick when eating certain things but nothing near as bad as it was xx
