Isa's story

Isa had a perfectly normal development till she was 10 months. She had an unspecified fever and 3 days later without fever, she had her first seizure, that developed into an epileptic status during 52 days in an intensive care unit. She was other 2 months at hospital weaning medication. She made all the possible exams and genetic tests and all were negative. She no longer sits by herself, nor holds her head, nor eats through mouth, nor recognize us or reacts to what is around her. For us is very difficult to accept that we lost our baby, she is no longer the same and we don't know how she will be. She does therapies everyday. She has improved her tonus a little bit. She now looks at us but do not react and started to laught to some sounds.
