500GWAS Project

Before adding your data to diseasemaps.org you must accept this privacy policy by checking the box 'I accept the consent and Privacy Policy.' If you do not agree with some points of our privacy policy, do not participate in our study. Participation is completely voluntary.

500 GWAS Purpose

The purpose of 500GWAS project of diseasemaps.org is to boost the genetic research of different diseases and conditions to help finding more personalized treatments, faster and more accurate diagnoses, and thus helping people who suffer them.

500 GWAS Method

To participate in this research, you have to fill out a survey with the conditions that you have been diagnosed, as well as the age when you were diagnosed. If you do not have a clear diagnosis or if you have not yet been diagnosed, you must check the box 'I have not yet been diagnosed with this condition.' Then you must upload a file from your RAW genetic analysis. It is a .txt file which you can get from the website where you took the genetic test.

Before continuing you must accept the privacy policy. Once you submit your genetic analysis, you must fill out a brief (2 minutes) survey about your lifestyle. The purpose of this survey is to filter, in subsequent studies, factors of your lifestyle that could influence on developing the condition, in order to get more accurate results.

Before 24 hours your genetic information will be deleted from our server and stored in a safe place, preventing possible attacks by third parties that may endanger your privacy.
