The Rare Girl

I was always considered an outcast, I always felt that I do not belong in this world, according to my Dad I was always unique in a good way.

I was diagnosed when I was 17 and now I am 26 years old. My life changed for the worse when I was diagnosed, everything felt apart. I dropped out of school, I stopped meeting my friends, I isolated myself and went into a severe depression questioning God, why me ? What have I done to deserve this?

Years started to pass by and I grew strong and confident, thanks to my family. I started to accept it and grew into a person that I can never imagine to be, I grew emphatic, understanding and calm.

Having scleroderma made me find myself, I am livng my dream life right now, studying at one of the top universities in the world, living in one the greatest city, I can proudly say that Sclerdoerma for me is a blessing in disguise.
