My fight for someone to believe me.

I was 14 when the pain really started. My hands would get so cold they would turn white, and then purple and blue. My parents always told me I was dramatic and that I wasn't as sick as I wanted to be, so it took me a long time to finally tell them what was really going on. I showed my mom my hands after I got off of the school bus and walked home. (Literally just down the drive.) She freaked out and had me get in a hot bath and called our doctor, who diagnoised me over the phone with she must of had frost bite as a young child and it will be easer for her to get it. Clearly misdiagnoised, but it fed into my parents not believing me and I was dramatic. I left it alone, got yelled at all the time for being sluggish, sleeping all the time, and lazy. Life went on with everyone just belittling me and ignoring me, so I stopped talking to them about it. When I was 22 I was pregnant with my 3rd child and I got sicker than I had ever been.
