PMDD Doesn't Own Me

My title might suggest that I feel empowered more often than not but I can't say that's been the case over the years. I've had PMDD for at least 5 years, maybe longer. Becoming educated and tracking my period and my symptoms have helped me so much as well as connecting with others through support groups. I created a support group specifically for PMDD called "Premenstrual Madness" (https://healthunlocked.com/premenstrual-madness). I hope to create more awareness and lend support to others who are also struggling. PMDD can feel like a horrific roller coaster at times but I think that next to finding effective treatments, social support is one of the biggest factors in our health and well-being. Please don't give up. There is hope.
