My PMDD

I have only recently found out about this disorder and have yet to be diagnosed by a professional as I can not find one in my area that has heard of it. Now that I know what this is it has turned my life upside down. I had felt so alone for so many years and thought I was just going crazy, now I know I am not alone.

I have very low lows as you all do and tend to run to bed to try and get past the days as quickly as possible! I have had symptons since my teens but when I had my 1st son at 17 it started to get worse, after two more children and a tubal ligation I am at breaking point each month. I start symtoms around two weeks before my period starts that thankfully ease off after the 1st day or two but since my tubal ligation I now have an extreamly heavy painfull period and I am miserable because of it so I have 3 weeks of every month where I am suffering and 1 fantastic week when my family get me back. I am heartbroken for my children and husband as understanding as he is this is no way for us to live.

I am still on the hunt for a doctor but find it hard to start my story over and over with the same answer each time - this is just PMS every woman deals with it and you need to find your way to deal with it too!!! This is not the answer, it can't be.

My hunt continues.
