My Journey

_I WAS DXD AFTER I HAD A BAD TICKLE IN MY THROAT THAT WOULDN'T GO AWAY, I COUGHED SO MUCH THAT I CRACKED A RIB THAT LEAD TO SHINGLES, I THOUGHT I HAD PNEUMONIA & WENT TO SEE MY PCP, HE ORDERED A CHEST X-RAY WHICH SHOWED THE GRANDULOMAS, THE DR ASSISTANT RECOGNIZED IT & REFERRED ME TO A PULMONARY DR, AFTER MANY TESTS INCLUDING A PETSCAN, HE DECIDED TO DO A BIOPSY, IT WAS CONFIRMED IN 2008, I DID THE STEROIDS AS NEEDED FOR 2 YEARS, MY HIGHEST ACE LEVELS WENT TO 89 SO HE GUESSED THAT I WILL MOST LIKELY GO INTO REMISSION, IN NOVEMBER 2013 IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT I AM IN REMISSION BUT I AM NOW GETTING SOME LESIONS ON MY FOREARMS THEY ARE WATCHING FOR SKIN SARCOIDOSIS.
