My 9yo Daughter has Tak

In a week my daughter went from very pale to not been able to walk properly... Gabriella went to a cardiologist due to heart murmur then gastroenterologist due to severe anaemia and had blood transfusion, colonoscopy and gastroscopy and mri and 4 blood tests in between all that. We were then moved on to a Hematologist as gastroenterologist found nothing and thought could be a blood problem. Gabby had 5 more blood tests and pet scan before been moves to a rheumatologist as it turned out to be vasculitis. This was all in just 5.5 weeks. We then got admitted to hospital to start aggressive treatment amd had MRA. Two days into treatment they discovered it was Takayasu Arteritis. After four days in hospital on treatment we got to go home. And have continued with hospital visits every month for follow ups. Gabby started on 25mg prednisone and 5 milligrams of methotrexate. They have gotten her down to 15 mg for last 3 months with 15 mg methotrexate but no further improvement. We are now trying 17.5mg methotrexate but injections now instead of tablets... hopefully we will see some further improvement of her levels.
