A Tarlov Cyst story

I've had pain from these for a long time but it really presented itself when I was pregnant with my son in 2014 and they told me it was just sciatica pain.. I couldn't sit down for very long or hardly do anything.  When my son was born January 2015 I couldn't even sit in the hospital bed without severe pain. The pain meds they gave me did absolutely nothing! They kept telling me that it would go away after I healed (I had a horrible emergency c section). The pain kept getting worse and worse. I started looking up my symptoms and coming up with some real wild things October 2015 decided to go back to my Dr and get an MRI and that's when I was diagnosed with a Tarlov Cyst at the base of my spine that is 1.7 cm. They had me try Lyrica for the nerve pain and it messed with my personality really bad (made me mean) so when I went back in after a week of taking it they told me they were not going to give me anything else because they " didn't want me to mess my back up any worse than it already is." They sent me to a neurologist in Sioux falls where they had me do physical therapy for 6 weeks and wanted me to do cortisone injections. I refused to do the injections and they told me that they could do nothing more for me until I did them and then they would talk more about just removing my tail bone and calling it good. I still refused and wanted a second opinion. My Dr sent me to another neurologist in Fargo and when they called me about my appointment they said they would have me do injections also so I cancelled my appointment with them and due to other circumstances I dropped my insurance. I have sense been trying to find homeopathic ways to help with the pain. I have recently found a DMSO cream that helps with the pain. It lasts anywhere from 4-6 hours depending on what I'm doing and how much pain I'm having.
