A Trigeminal Neuralgia story
Diagnosed late 2015 when having a random all day attack, carbamazepine trialled stopped the pain overnight but the side effects were bad, the major symptoms didnt recur and have settled to next to nothing most days now, we expect it will recur at some point, I have had similar attacks over recent years, nowhere near as bad as many who suffer all day every day and I'm grateful for this breathing room just now
