Recovering from CFS with the Marshall Protocol

I fell ill in 2007 after multiple bouts of flu. After doing the usual rounds of doctors and specialists I was first diagnosed with Post-Viral Syndrome and then CFS. I could not work for a year and then dragged myself back to work as I was about to lose my job. I tried a long list of treatments all to no avail. I relapsed again with the flu in 2009 and was off work for another year.

In 2010 I saw an orthomolecular GP and had a blood test at Australian Biologics in Sydney and was diagnosed with an intracellular chronic infection of mycoplasma fermentans. I started on the Nicholson Protocol taking the antibiotic doxycycline. Then six months later I switched to the Marshall Protocol with another GP who was familiar with the protocol and would prescribe it. The first couple of years were very difficult due to herx reactions but during the second year I started to improve and I am now entering my 5th year of treatment. I have my life back.
