A Costochondritis / Tietze Syndrome story

Costochondritis is an inflammation of the cartilage that connects the ribs to the breastbone (sternum). The pain can be in the chest, armpits, breast, or ribcage (front &/or back), or a combination. It can last a few weeks for some, but become chronic and debilitating for others. Tietze's Syndrome is similar (some say the same) except for swelling. When I'm in pain, I often have swelling under my left armpit and high on my chest but have never officially been diagnosed with Tietze's. I have a FaceBook page is for those who wish to find some natural healing solutions called Costochondritis Natural Healing Stories for YOU! Please join and share what has worked for you! The short version of my own personal story is that I had a short-term/first time visit from Costo (for short) in 2006, which lasted a few weeks, and this past October of 2014, I had an "injury" caused by lifting 6 cases of water off of the floor at the grocery store, into my car, and then onto my garage floor. I immediately felt the stretch/pain and within a few days I was in the emergency room where they checked my heart (not that!) and could not get my pain under control. I spent the next 3 months virtually on the couch, had to quit my 2 part time jobs and the last class before my college degree. I tried everything to recover and ease the pain! Some days, I could barely breathe. ONE DAY I DECIDED TO ELIMINATE GLUTEN, SUGAR, AND DAIRY FROM MY DIET AND IN 4 DAYS I WAS 75% RECOVERED!! I hope this page helps you recover, or at least find some relief! I'm not saying this is the ONLY way, I would love for you to tell us what YOU did -- naturally -- to recover.
