My diagnose
I was 7 years old, when my mother took my dad's meter to control my bloodsugar, because I drank a lot, I had to go to the toilets very often, I lost appetite, etc. I know that I was afraid of the needle, but my mother wanted to control it. When she finally arrived, so when I give her my finger, the meter showed a measure of 336 mg/dL. She began to cry and called the doctors, who told her to drive me to an children hospital. My both parents were nervous and cried, and I didn't understand why. So when we arrived, the doctors made some tests with me, and then told me that I had a disease, that I had to give me some injections per day, that I had to pay attention. At the age of 7, I didn't know what was happening, but I agreed. I've been there from 23rd January 2003 until 25th January 2003, and then I got home with my parents again. I don't know anymore how my life was before I had diabetes T1, I only know that I always had to inject myself my 'whole life'.
