Finally in the clear.... or so I thought.

I was diagnosed with POTS about 8 months after have weight loss surgery. I lost a significant amount of weight in those 8 months (105lbs.) so my Dr's were just convinced it would naturally go away after my body had acclimated to the lower weight. Welllll here we are over 2 years later and even though I've lost more weight since then (25lbs. more), the POTS is still here causing havoc in my life. I've tried many meds which haven't worked. The best thing I've found for myself is to simply stay as active as possible and eat as good as I can. I take many vitamins and stay hydrated. I upped my salt intake and started on antidepressants. Other than those few things, nothing seems to help. I have good and bad days but I'm still trying to keep a positive outlook and find ways to make things as good as I can.
