it changed everything

I always remember having terribly painful and heavy periods. I was told year after year that I just had heavy periods. I knew this wasnt the case, how could it be?

When I was around 22 they got worse. I'd  ome off the pull that I had been on since I was 15 because me and my fiance were trying for a family. When my period came about I would collapse and not be able to move for days. I saw countless gynae Dr's and still got nowhere.

After much research of my own I found endometriosis. After being in hospital and pointing out this disease things moved forward, but at a price. The cyst I had had for several months had already crushed my right kidney. For which I had countless operations to fix, but it hasn't worked.

I have lost an ovary, fallopian tube and appendix. Countless cysts and fibroid tumours. I've had 12 laparoscopies and 1 laparotomy.

Due to not being able to handle the major changes in my life I got so depressed and to top that off my fiance left me and within months was living with another woman, and with this I lost all of my friends.

This disease has left me feeling so alone, I struggle with trust and sometimes wonder where I'm going with life because nothing seems to be helping.

But it's also opened my eyes to people.
