ET

My husband had a busy physical job he was always tired, but he began sleeping almost around the clock, I kept telling him its not normal to be this tired see the doctor, he may be anaemic. He went, had blood tests, they came back abnormal and appt was sent to see a haematologist. He was diagnosed with ET and given Hydracarbamide tablets. Dosage changes depending on his blood results, he hasnt seen a consultant face to face since March 2020. He caught Covid in December 2020 but despite his consultant telling him to get it would be very serious, he was fine apart from bad headaches.
We all worry about him constantly, he has lost weight dropping 2 waist sizes, but he still works at a local warehouse 8 hrs a day despite being 66. He doesnt read or research anything about his condition thats left up to me!
