Parker's Fight

Parker was diagnosed with multi-system LCH and BRAF gene mutation when he was 8 months old. It affected his spleen, liver, bone marrow, skin, ears, and he has two lessons, one on his skull and one on his ribs. He was a sick baby from the beginning, just wasn't diagnosed because his doc wasn't aware of the disease. He fought for a while and the whole time, he was hospitalized for 9 months. He got real bad and underwent 2 rounds of chemo and it wasn't working, he  finally got a bone marrow transplant. After the transplant, another bone marrow biopsy was done and found that the LCH was still there and the BRAF gene mutation. Parker is finally home with us and still undergoing chemo and has to take meds three times a day plus IV meds. Parker is such a little fighter. He still goes in the hospital a lot. Usually in for a week and out for a week. We just take it day by day and enjoy every moment we have!  We have hope and strength that he will bet this!!!! God is good!
