Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome

I was suspected to have PJS around age 5 due to several freckle spots on and in my mouth, been to several doctors.  At age 9 went to have my first endoscopy/colonoscopy and several polyps removed.  I had a GI bleed from stress Ulcers the next day and was in the hospital.  I have annual procedures since then.  In May of 2015 I had abdominal pain and went to the ER they transported me for emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction.  They had to cut me open because it was 12 inches interception of my small bowel.  They repaired it, but had pain and other issues after for 2 days so they checked and it showed sepsis and the bowel obstruction again so they did another surgery.  I was in ICU for a few days then got better.  On Jun 19th they sent me home, but that next morning I was back in the ER my abdomen was extremely swollen and severe pain.  They had to decompress for 12 hour before surgery and when they opened me for the 3rd surgery they ended up removing 12 inches of small intestine and giving a ostomy bag.  I had issues through this whole time having TPN because I weighed 61 lbs. by this time.  I was sent home like this the beginning of July for 2 weeks and returned the end of July to have my Ostomy reversed.  Luckily I only had to have to ostomy for 7 weeks because I didn't want to return to school with it.  I have been ok for now and continue my routine GI appointments to try and stay well.

Thanks a lot Felix for your comments, always helpfull. Hope you are ok now.

We will keep an eye on you.

Best wishes.
