High Grade Malignant

October 2015 I had a mammogram, and found a lump. I had a needle biopsy, and no malignancy was found. But it still needed to be removed, so I decided to wait until January for new insurance.

I just was not too concerned about it since they are rarely malignant.

I had the surgery at the end of January, and learned the tumor was high grade malignant. I went back immediately for more surgery, to get better margins.

Then a PET scan to see if it had spread, and suspicious spots were identified on my ovaries, along with abnormally large fibroid tumors. I needed a hysterectomy, so they cut me open, as they fibroids were too large to be removed vaginally.

Five days after surgery, I began radiation treatments. I completed 30 in April.

Another lump formed in my other breast, and I had surgery in July, but it was nothing to be worried about.

Now it is December. and I am struggling with my immune system, as I am constantly dealing with urinary tract infections if I am not rested.

Other than that, so far so good.
